Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Fu (ranked 3919 p4p, 3608 weight class) and Mark Jackacy (ranked 449 p4p, 428 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jackacy's choice of entrance music: Nkolo Akosunga - Lokua Kanza. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jackacy avoids the head kick by Fu .
Fu throws a hook but Jackacy avoids it easily.
Jackacy throws a body punch but Fu moves out of range.
A cross from Jackacy lands.
Jackacy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fu is looking to counter with head kicks.
Fu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fu throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jackacy.
Fu pulls out of a head kick attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jackacy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fu is able to avoid easily.

A quick step to the side and Fu tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackacy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fu defends it nicely.
Fu ducks under a wild hook from Jackacy.
Jackacy looks to throw the jab but Fu is out of range.
Fu moves out of range of the body kick from Jackacy.
Jackacy throws a lazy right hand but Fu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fu misses with a looping right.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jackacy! But no joy.
Jackacy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jackacy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Fu counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Tommy Fu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Jackacy.

Mark Jackacy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fu bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Jackacy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jackacy tries a head kick but it misses.
Fu throws a sloppy head kick
and Jackacy counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Fu lands a brutal head kick. Jackacy looks out on his feet and Fu throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

A very excited looking Tommy Fu rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Mark Jackacy spoke after the fight, saying 'Thank you to my opponent and all the fans, my coaches and sponsors.'.
