Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zacharias Sabel (ranked 3545 p4p, 3768 weight class) and Ragnar Volarus (ranked 413 p4p, 434 weight class). Zacharias Sabel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ragnar Volarus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zacharias Sabel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ragnar Volarus!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Sabel.
Volarus throws a series of punches but Sabel moves out of range.
Sabel seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Sabel blocks a jab.
Sabel rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Volarus counters with a one-two to the body.
Volarus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Volarus scores with a sloppy right hand. Sabel should have avoided that one.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sabel avoids the body shot from Volarus.
Sabel throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Volarus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Volarus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Sabel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Sabel connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Volarus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sabel tests Volarus's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sabel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Volarus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sabel lands a slapping body shot.
Sabel throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sabel clobbers Volarus with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Volarus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sabel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Volarus scrambles back to his feet.
Volarus is rocked!
Sabel looks to land a right hand but Volarus moved out of range.
Volarus throws a shot from downtown. Sabel moves away and avoids it.
Sabel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Volarus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sabel misses with a jab to the body
and Volarus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A big right from Volarus misses.

Volarus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sabel.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sabel throws a hook to the side of Volarus's head but Volarus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Volarus throws an overhand right that lands on Sabel's shoulder, as Sabel tries to avoid the shot.
Sabel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sabel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Volarus.
It looked like Sabel wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Sabel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Volarus moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sabel moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Volarus throws a looping overhand right but Sabel ducks down to avoid it.
Sabel was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sabel takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Volarus throws out a loose jab but Sabel uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sabel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Volarus gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sabel is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Volarus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Volarus slips a jab and a cross from Sabel.
Volarus throws out a counter right but Sabel avoids it with no problem.

Zacharias Sabel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Volarus lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Sabel closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Sabel comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Volarus stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Sabel is on him like rabid pit bull! Volarus slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
