Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Bond (ranked 175 p4p, 528 weight class) and Ngozi Chai (ranked 21 p4p, 68 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bond scores with a head kick.
Chai looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Bond wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A left lands for Bond.
Bond throws a push kick but Chai slaps the foot to one side.
Chai ducks under a wild hook from Bond.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chai! But no joy.
Bond misses with a straight right.
Bond lands a leg kick that knocks Chai off balance momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chai tries to clinch there but Bond circles away.

Bond blocks a low kick nicely.

and Bond counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chai swings for the body but Bond moves out of range.

Chai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bond moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bond lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A telegraphed right hand from Chai misses the target.
A head kick misses from Bond.
Bond throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Chai to counter with a crisp jab.

Chai drives through and clinches with Bond against the cage.

Chai misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Bond.

Bond tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Chai lands a knee to the head.

Chai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bond connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Gunner Bond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Bond takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bond is rocked!
Bond walks into a straight right hand from Chai.
Oh Bond is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bond walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Chai! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
