Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Bill Jr (ranked 1037 p4p, 566 weight class) and Draco Leonidas (ranked 85 p4p, 51 weight class). Draco Leonidas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Bill Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Draco Leonidas!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonidas avoids the head kick by Bill Jr.
Bill Jr misses with a looping right.
Leonidas is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Leonidas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bill Jr finds it's way round the side to connect with Leonidas's head.
Bill Jr tries to move into range but Leonidas moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Leonidas misses with a body shot.
Bill Jr has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Bill Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Leonidas lands with a right hand.
The fighters circling - Leonidas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Leonidas comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Leonidas has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bill Jr clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Leonidas misses with a punch to the head.
Leonidas is persistently looking for the submission but Bill Jr is defending it well.
Leonidas has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bill Jr has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leonidas is looking for a choke. Bill Jr gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Bill Jr manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
Bill Jr controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Leonidas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bill Jr has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Bill Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leonidas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bill Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Leonidas's legs - danger averted.

Leonidas has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
You can see the frustration on Leonidas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Leonidas is looking for a sweep.
Bill Jr staying calm.
Leonidas manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leonidas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bill Jr's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bill Jr's back!
A lull in the action here.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Draco Leonidas dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Bill Jr lands with a straight right. Leonidas didn't see that one coming.
Leonidas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Leonidas has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Leonidas looks to land a left hand but Bill Jr moved out of range nicely.
Bill Jr swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Leonidas misses with a wild combination.
Draco Leonidas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bill Jr misses the jab.
Leonidas throws a lazy uppercut
and Bill Jr counters with a straight right hand.

Bill Jr takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Leonidas bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bill Jr. Leonidas does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leonidas lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Leonidas throws a shot from downtown. Bill Jr moves away and avoids it.

Bill Jr scores with a jab. Leonidas acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Draco Leonidas seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bill Jr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Leonidas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Leonidas might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Leonidas misses with a looping left.
Leonidas throws a low kick but Bill Jr moves out of range easily.
Bill Jr moves into range and clinches up with Leonidas.
Bill Jr swings wildly with an uppercut but Leonidas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Leonidas goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bill Jr prevents it.

Bill Jr digs a right hand into Leonidas's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Leonidas's gas tank.

Dan Bill Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Draco Leonidas.
Leonidas drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bill Jr gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bill Jr looks to score with a jab to the body but Leonidas is just out of range.
And Leonidas tries to counter it with a takedown but Bill Jr pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Leonidas takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Leonidas throws a hook but Bill Jr avoids it easily.
Bill Jr scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Bill Jr takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Leonidas is looking to slow Bill Jr down with leg kicks.
Leonidas lands a lovely overhand right.
Bill Jr throws a nice inside leg kick.
Bill Jr throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Leonidas on the side of the head.

Leonidas swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Leonidas scores with a counter punch that sends Bill Jr to the canvas! Leonidas smells blood - he's punishing Bill Jr with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bill Jr has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Draco Leonidas!
