Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hassan Fezzik (ranked 1523 p4p, 1903 weight class) and Vedran Mihaljevic (ranked 192 p4p, 235 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vedran Mihaljevic!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Mihaljevic.

It looks like Hassan Fezzik has been cut.
Fezzik lands a head shot.
Mihaljevic throws a body shot but no joy.
Fezzik gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mihaljevic throws a body shot but no joy.
Fezzik uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mihaljevic.
Fezzik throws a big counter combination but Mihaljevic scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Mihaljevic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fezzik's head.
Fezzik misses with a looping right.
Fezzik shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mihaljevic eats them both and turns towards Fezzik to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Vedran Mihaljevic has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oooooh!!! Fezzik has knocked Mihaljevic down with a huge combo! Fezzik steps away and waves a wobbly Mihaljevic back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Mihaljevic takes a swing at Fezzik's ribcage but misses.
Mihaljevic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mihaljevic takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fezzik finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Mihaljevic misses with a double jab.
Mihaljevic throws a left and a right that both miss
and Fezzik counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fezzik ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Fezzik scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mihaljevic doesn't seem bothered though.

Mihaljevic throws the left hand but Fezzik avoids the punch easily.
Mihaljevic tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fezzik swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fezzik feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Fezzik has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cobra Kai Workout Center in the buildup to the fight.

and Fezzik counters with a nice right hand that sends Mihaljevic toppling to the canvas! Mihaljevic scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Fezzik finish him?!

Mihaljevic is rocked!
Mihaljevic misses with a jab, cross combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fezzik takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Mihaljevic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fezzik manages to avoid it.
Fezzik throws a body punch but Mihaljevic moves out of range.
Fezzik lands a nice looking body shot.
Mihaljevic pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fezzik takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Mihaljevic glances at the clock... BAM! Fezzik nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Mihaljevic crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Mihaljevic is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
