Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Danger (ranked 161 p4p, 380 weight class) and Charles Luciano (ranked 28 p4p, 57 weight class). Danger comes to the cage accompanied by Wham! - Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Charles Luciano was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Luciano.
Luciano tries to work over Danger's front leg with a kick but Danger checks it.
Danger tries to clinch up but Luciano circles away and keeps his distance.
Danger throws a right hand that misses
and Luciano counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Danger thinking.
Danger looks to score with a jab to the body but Luciano is just out of range.
Luciano fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Danger checks it well.
Luciano dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Danger. That did some damage!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as Luciano lands an impressive looking overhand right. Danger doesn't seem phased though.

Luciano uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Danger throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

and Danger counters with a nice right hand that sends Luciano toppling to the canvas! Luciano scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Danger finish him?!
Luciano throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Danger swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Luciano looks to score with a jab to the body but Danger is just out of range.
Danger throws a big counter combination but Luciano scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Danger cracks Luciano with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Luciano looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Danger finish him?

Danger moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Danger looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Luciano was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
That kick from Luciano tenderised Danger's leg. Danger is trying to keep his angry face on.

Danger ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

letting Luciano counter with a right hand.
Luciano throws an off balance right hand
and Danger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Luciano fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Danger checks it well.
Danger quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Luciano throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Danger.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Luciano throws a nice head kick!
Danger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Danger tries to bum rush Luciano with a series of wild strikes but Luciano uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Danger throws a hook to the side of Luciano's head but Luciano sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Danger is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Luciano can do to turn this around?

and Danger counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Luciano! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

An out of breath Danny Danger thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
