Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Van Ines!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, WP Inman!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ines scores with a takedown into Inman's guard.
Inman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Inman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ines controls the pace.
Ines stands and throws Inman's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Ines is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Inman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Ines moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ines working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Ines goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Inman has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ines but great work by Inman.

Ines wants to control but Inman postures up.
Ines tries to bench press Inman off him but Inman keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ines manages to work his way to half guard, despite Inman's best efforts.
Ines wants to get back to full guard but Inman has passed into side control.
Ines parries the strikes from Inman easily there. Inman is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ines to escape.

Ines tries to bench press Inman off him but Inman keeps the position.
Ines keeps Inman under control for a moment.
Ines is trying to get back to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ines manages to get back to half guard.
Inman is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Inman winds up and cracks Ines with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ines moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Ines is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ines wants to sweep here but Inman controlling him for the moment.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Van Ines will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Inman pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ines back to the cage. Inman follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

WP Inman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Inman scores with a one two! Ines had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Ines is rocked!
Inman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ines looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Oh Ines is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Inman lands with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ines misses with a hook to the body
and Inman counters with a huge left! Ines is in big trouble! He's backing up but Inman isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Ines from any more damage. A dominating finish by Inman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). WP Inman!
