The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mallin throws a head kick that Santos semi-blocks.
Santos looks to land a combination but Mallin avoids it well.
Mallin tries a head kick but it misses.
Santos throws a head kick that misses.
Mallin moves out of range as Santos strikes.
Santos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Santos moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Alexandre Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mallin moves out of range of the body kick.
Santos throws a sloppy head kick and Mallin moves out of range easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mallin.
Mallin tries a head kick but it misses.

and Mallin counters with a body kick that stops Santos in his tracks momentarily.
Mallin fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Santos on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
The fighters circle, before Mallin throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Santos's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mallin lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
