Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacob White (ranked 2417 p4p, 1938 weight class) and Brass Knuckles (ranked 204 p4p, 168 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brass Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White stuffs the takedown.
White swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
White looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Knuckles connects with an inside leg kick.
White stuffs the takedown.
White tries to move into range but Knuckles moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Knuckles avoids the body shot from White.

White has hold of Knuckles's hands but Knuckles slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Knuckles looks to land a strike but White avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

White has Knuckles pulled in close to control his posture.

White wants to hit a sweep here but Knuckles passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for White there!
White is bucking up trying to escape but Knuckles cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Knuckles moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, White has worked his arm free - good work by White!
White can't do much from the bottom here.

Knuckles is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, White has escaped the position, nice work there.

White is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Knuckles has just dragged him back down to the mat.
White prevents Knuckles from improving position.
Knuckles trying to control the action but White is working from the bottom.
White is looking for a sweep.

Knuckles tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Knuckles works to advance to full mount. White defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Brass Knuckles dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

White moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Knuckles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.

Knuckles fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging White to the ground. Knuckles is now in White's guard.

Knuckles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard.

White can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Knuckles controls the pace.

Knuckles is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
White utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
White pulls Knuckles in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Knuckles on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by White. White obviously looking to wear him down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from White.
A jab from White misses.
Knuckles is looking for the big counter here.
Knuckles fails with a takedown attempt.
White throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Knuckles closes the distance and clinches up with White, looking for a takedown. Knuckles pushes White against the cage but White circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jacob White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brass Knuckles.

White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet.
Knuckles shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts White as he jumps to the side.

Knuckles darts in looking for a takedown but White gets double underhooks and turns Knuckles into the cage.

White goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
White pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Knuckles back to the cage. White follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Knuckles takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Knuckles shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense.
White thows a left - swing and a miss!
Knuckles wants to counter with a clinch but White pushes him away.

Knuckles drives through with a takedown into White's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Knuckles wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position.
Knuckles won't allow White to get back to his feet.
Knuckles working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
White has Knuckles pulled in close to control his posture.
Knuckles has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Knuckles takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
White misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Knuckles or perhaps it was just good defense by White, which made it look bad.

Knuckles throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. White tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Knuckles is in White's guard.
Brass Knuckles has got the better of the ground game so far.
Knuckles chips away with some ground and pound.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knuckles might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control White haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knuckles winds up and cracks White with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Knuckles seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but White does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
White is controlling Knuckles's trapped leg to prevent Knuckles from advancing to side control.

White is looking for a sweep. Knuckles is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

White is trying to stand up here but Knuckles is controlling him well.
White is not content to let Knuckles control the position.

Knuckles wants to work for an arm triangle but White is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

White tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
