Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Julian Bashir (ranked 1082 p4p, 1156 weight class) and Blonde Brunson (ranked 81 p4p, 87 weight class). Bashir kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Exodus - The Toxic Waltz. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julian Bashir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blonde Brunson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunson shoots in looking for a takedown. Bashir tries to sprawl out of it but Brunson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bashir manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Brunson has a takedown stuffed.
Bashir feinted with a counter takedown.

Brunson has closed the distance and engaged Bashir in a clinch.

Julian Bashir has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Blonde Brunson.
Bashir tries a body shot but Brunson blocks it.

Brunson has Bashir pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bashir manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bashir pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brunson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bashir but Bashir pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Brunson dives in and grabs Bashir's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bashir pushes down on Brunson's head and hops out.

Brunson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Bashir feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brunson is looking to improve his position but Bashir isn't that keen on the idea.
Bashir postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Brunson badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Bashir around the waist but Bashir pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Bashir is the winner by TKO! Bashir jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

A relieved looking Julian Bashir thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
