The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen scores with the left hand. Parker knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Matthew Parker has been cut.
Allen throws a big shot that misses.

Allen cracks Parker with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Parker looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Allen finish him?

Parker is rocked!
Parker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Allen defends it nicely.
Allen looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Parker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Allen but Allen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Allen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Allen swats away the attempt to clinch by Parker.
Allen looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Parker fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matthew Parker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Parker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Allen! But no joy.
Allen thuds his right hand into Parker's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Parker shoots in but no luck this time.
Allen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Allen avoids the head kick by Parker.
Allen shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Parker takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Allen sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Parker bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
