Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lee (ranked 1760 p4p, 1886 weight class) and Pete Prescott (ranked 286 p4p, 306 weight class). Prescott has chosen Negative Creep - Nirvana as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pete Prescott!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Darius Henderson and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prescott tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.
Pete Prescott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Prescott shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Prescott would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Lee throws his legs up looking for a submission but Prescott uses it to pass to side control.

Lee has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee tries to control but Prescott manages to take his back.

Lee manages to reverse the position and now he's in Prescott's guard. Nice work there by Lee.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Prescott swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Prescott seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Lee has gone for a leg lock! Prescott slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lee's guard.

Prescott won't allow Lee to sweep him here.

Lee isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Prescott stacks Lee on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Prescott!

Prescott decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Prescott fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Pete Prescott is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Prescott tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lee seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Lee gets tackled into the cage by Prescott. Prescott maintains the clinch.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Prescott is trying to force a seperation but Lee has the dominant position.
Prescott wants to break free but Lee has control.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Prescott connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lee's hands.

Prescott wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance.
Lee feinted with a counter takedown.
Prescott connects with an inside leg kick.
Robert Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Prescott displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee.

Lee tries to keep at a distance but Prescott has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Prescott! But no joy.
Lee takes a jab right on the kisser.
Prescott tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lee throws a series of punches but Prescott moves out of range.
Lee shoots in for a double leg but Prescott sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A decent looking cross lands there for Prescott.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lee is trying to drag Prescott to the mat but Prescott just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Prescott is pushing Lee up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Prescott has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Prescott is trying to break the clinch but Lee is controlling him.

Prescott is looking to break free of the clinch but Lee has double underhooks.
Lee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Prescott's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Prescott can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lee controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lee is defended easily by Prescott.
Prescott looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Pete Prescott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Prescott bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards.

Prescott clobbers Lee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Lee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Prescott to score with a decent uppercut.

Prescott looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Prescott tries to clinch up but Lee circles away and keeps his distance.
Prescott lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Prescott dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage!
Lee takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Prescott thuds his right hand into Lee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Prescott avoids it really well and circles away.

Prescott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lee darts in looking for a takedown but Prescott gets double underhooks and turns Lee into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Prescott wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lee keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Prescott's efforts to push away.

Lee walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Prescott has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Prescott scores with a nice right hand.
Prescott goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Lee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lee there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lee needs to keep his hands up - Prescott had a free shot at his head there.

Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Prescott scores with a jab to the head.
Pete Prescott is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Lee drops his hands momentarily and Prescott takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Lee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Lee tries to pull guard but Prescott holds him up against the cage and eventually Lee drops back down to his feet.
Robert Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Lee tries to throw a body punch but Prescott avoids it by throwing Lee back against the cage.

and Lee counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Prescott manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Lee looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Prescott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Pete Prescott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Prescott has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
