Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Williams (ranked 97 p4p, 304 weight class) and Tu Barrels (ranked 5 p4p, 20 weight class). Barrels has chosen Lock stock and as his entrance music. Larry Williams could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tu Barrels's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Larry Williams!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Tu Barrels!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams misses with a hook
and Barrels counters with a stiff right hand.
Barrels pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barrels dives in and grabs Williams's left leg, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes down on Barrels's head and hops out.
A little feinted left hand from Williams on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Williams misses with a hook.
Williams fakes the leg kick and cracks Barrels in the body.
Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Barrels does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tu Barrels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Williams definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Williams pulls Barrels in close to his closed guard and prevents Barrels from doing any damage or advancing position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Barrels working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Williams parries the strikes from Barrels easily there. Barrels is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Williams to escape.

Barrels wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Williams, who protects the arm well.
Williams takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Barrels cracks Williams with a big right hand but Williams just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Barrels creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Barrels in side control, throwing shots but Williams defends.
Williams is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Barrels's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Barrels throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Williams to regain full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Barrels's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barrels lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Williams has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Williams and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Williams was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Barrels fails with a takedown attempt.
Williams is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barrels.
Barrels will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Barrels counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barrels stands up over Williams, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Barrels drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Williams dives on top into guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Barrels holds on and takes a little breather.
Barrels's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Barrels is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Williams's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Williams's back!

Barrels is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Barrels is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Larry Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barrels takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Barrels displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Williams throws out the jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barrels shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily.
Williams darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Barrels's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Williams before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 4, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Larry Williams!
