Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Devin Brusellsprouts (ranked 4988 p4p, 1267 weight class) and Lorenz Blackwater (ranked 535 p4p, 174 weight class). Blackwater comes into a darkened arena with his song building. A$AP Rocky - Everyday kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackwater keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The crowd cheers as Blackwater lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brusellsprouts doesn't seem phased though.

Brusellsprouts throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Blackwater lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Blackwater will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blackwater is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brusellsprouts had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Brusellsprouts is squirming around, avoiding Blackwater's attempts to control the action.

Blackwater thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Blackwater is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brusellsprouts to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brusellsprouts shrugs it off.

Blackwater takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Blackwater working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Brusellsprouts turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Blackwater off and cradles Brusellsprouts's limp body as Blackwater celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Lorenz Blackwater!
A very excited looking Lorenz Blackwater rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
