PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 25119 p4p, 4330 weight class) and Owen Tooogood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tooogood darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Zakrzewski manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Tooogood keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Zakrzewski has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Tooogood is on him like a limpet, forcing Zakrzewski back against the cage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Owen Tooogood showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Tooogood has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
