PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yamcha Wolf-Fang (ranked 2082 p4p, 2774 weight class) and Carter Williams (ranked 264 p4p, 321 weight class). Wolf-Fang comes to the cage accompanied by Rise Against - Give It All. Carter Williams told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams is trying to trip Wolf-Fang. He has hold of a leg but Wolf-Fang is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Williams persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Wolf-Fang is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wolf-Fang in particular looking to stall.
