Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Pinkman (ranked 47 p4p, 178 weight class) and Dmitri Kersikov (ranked 5 p4p, 16 weight class). Pinkman comes to the cage accompanied by Quavo & Takeoff - Hotel Lobby . Kersikov has chosen Builder - Her Voice (Headhunterz Remix) as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesse Pinkman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dmitri Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kersikov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Pinkman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kersikov on the side of the head.
Pinkman misses with a straight right.
Kersikov throws out a counter right but Pinkman avoids it with no problem.
Pinkman loads up on a big right hand but Kersikov slips the punch.
It seemed like Kersikov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Pinkman counters with a shoot takedown. Kersikov fights it but they end up in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Pinkman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kersikov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pinkman.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Pinkman is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Kersikov still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Kersikov has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

and Kersikov counters with a crisp one two that drops Pinkman! Kersikov thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pinkman to his feet! Pinkman is in big trouble!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pinkman drops his hands for a split second and Kersikov immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Pinkman face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Kersikov follows up with a right hand that knocks Pinkman into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 5, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dmitri Kersikov!
