Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derek Erwin (ranked 1556 p4p, 373 weight class) and Holden Gracie (ranked 64 p4p, 23 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Derek Erwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Holden Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie slips a jab from Erwin.
Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Erwin on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Erwin clinches up against the cage.
Gracie lands with a left to the head.
Gracie lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Gracie lands a hook to the side of the head.
Erwin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Erwin forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches.
Gracie is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Erwin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gracie pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Erwin is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Gracie is defending well.

Erwin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Erwin closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage.

Erwin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Erwin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Erwin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Derek Erwin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Erwin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Erwin lands with an overhand left.
Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Erwin is just out of range.

Gracie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Gracie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Gracie's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gracie duly obliges.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie misses with a series of wild punches.
Erwin blocks a head kick by Gracie.
Gracie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Erwin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gracie swinging wildly here.
Erwin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard.
Erwin works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Gracie is looking to improve his position.
Erwin passes the guard and advances to mount!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Holden Gracie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Gracie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
