Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 23 - 1, fighting out of New York, Zima Voin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wheeler slips under a jab.
Voin with a lazy takedown attempt

Wheeler avoids a punch combination nicely.
Voin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wheeler jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Zima Voin has been cut.
A clash of legs there as Wheeler blocks the low kick.
It looked like Wheeler was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Voin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wheeler on the side of the head.

Voin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Wheeler decides to pull guard.
Voin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wheeler is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wheeler lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Wheeler wants to control from the top but Voin keeps moving.
Voin pulls Wheeler in close to his closed guard and prevents Wheeler from doing any damage or advancing position.
Voin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Voin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wheeler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Voin has managed to get both his arms back between Wheeler's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wheeler's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Voin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wheeler scrambles back to his feet.

Voin tries to move into range but Wheeler moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Voin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Voin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wheeler.
Wheeler throws a series of punches but Voin avoids them all with ease.

Voin gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Wheeler has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Voin uses from the top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rylan Wheeler will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Let's hope that Voin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
