Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Viikinki (ranked 416 p4p, 442 weight class) and Vunipola Veainu (ranked 24 p4p, 22 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vunipola Veainu!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viikinki connects with a high kick.

It looks like Vunipola Veainu has been cut.
Veainu throws an off balance right hand
and Viikinki counters with a stiff right hand.
Viikinki moves out of range of the strikes.
Viikinki misses with an uppercut
and Viikinki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Veainu misses with an uppercut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Veainu darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Veainu avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Viikinki misses with a looping right.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Veainu! But no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters circling - Viikinki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Veainu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Viikinki connects with a body shot.
Viikinki misses with a hook. Veainu ducked under it nicely.
Veainu throws out a counter right but Viikinki avoids it with no problem.
A slow jab from Veainu misses its intended target.
Viikinki fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Veainu on the side of the head.

That has opened up Vunipola Veainu's cut even more.
Viikinki throws a poor cross that misses
and Veainu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Veainu drops his hands for a split second and Viikinki immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Veainu face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Viikinki follows up with a right hand that knocks Veainu into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tony Viikinki!
A very excited looking Tony Viikinki rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
