Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reijo Halli (ranked 723 p4p, 1020 weight class) and Juan Corona (ranked 105 p4p, 140 weight class). Halli kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Clint Eastwood - Gorillaz. Corona has chosen Lil Baby, Lil Durk - How It Feels as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halli forces Corona back against the cage and clinches.
Halli lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Halli has Corona pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Halli pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Corona tumbling to the mat - Halli dives into Corona's guard.

Corona escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Halli gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Halli is on top in guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Halli tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Halli has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've been informed that Corona has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halli is working to tighten his grip on Corona's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Corona has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Halli is really squeezing tight and eventually Corona passes out! Halli breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After the fight, Reijo Halli was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Juan Corona spoke after the fight, saying 'Wow! He is more badass than I thought.'.
