The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chugman looks to clinch
and Kersikov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chugman tries to clinch up
and Kersikov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chugman pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kersikov throwing a counter right hand but Chugman manages to avoid it.
Kersikov misses the jab.
Klaus Chugman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kersikov is looking to counter punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chugman tries to clinch up

Chugman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kersikov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kersikov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Chugman throws an off balance right hand
and as Chugman loses concentration momentarily, Kersikov counters with a picture perfect head kick! Chugman goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
