Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tapani Kangas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean O Rally!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Rally bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
O Rally takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kangas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
O Rally is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kangas misses with a looping left.
O Rally lands a right hook to the body.
Kangas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kangas tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and O Rally is able to avoid easily.
Kangas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
O Rally avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

O Rally cracks Kangas with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

O Rally closes the distance and clinches up with Kangas, looking for a takedown. O Rally pushes Kangas against the ropes but Kangas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

O Rally fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kangas sprawls well initially but O Rally persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
