Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. (ranked 100 p4p, 191 weight class) and Stoner Steve (ranked 15 p4p, 28 weight class). Thibodeaux Jr. comes to the ring accompanied by Rags2Riches. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stoner Steve!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve throws a right hand that misses
enabling Thibodeaux Jr. to counter with a crisp jab.
Steve fails in his attempt to clinch.
Thibodeaux Jr. takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Thibodeaux Jr. has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thib's Sweat Shoppe in the buildup to the fight.
Thibodeaux Jr. uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Steve.
Stoner Steve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thibodeaux Jr. slips under a jab from Steve.
Nice jab there from Steve.
It looks like Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steve takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Steve looks to score with a jab to the body but Thibodeaux Jr. is just out of range.
Thibodeaux Jr. throwing a counter right hand but Steve manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steve misses with a hook
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a nice uppercut.
Thibodeaux Jr. is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steve.
Steve looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Steve swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Thibodeaux Jr. counters with a nice right hand that sends Steve toppling to the canvas! Steve scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Thibodeaux Jr. finish him?!
Steve throws an off balance right hand
and Thibodeaux Jr. rattles Steve with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Steve tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Thibodeaux Jr. dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Steve stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dakota Thibodeaux Jr.!
Dakota Thibodeaux Jr. decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
