Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Summa Sector (ranked 123 p4p, 142 weight class) and Vitali Kersikov I I (ranked 18 p4p, 22 weight class). Sector comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Kersikov I I has chosen Sefa & Mr. Ivex - LSD Problem as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

With a record of 32 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Summa Sector!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vitali Kersikov I I!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sector. Kersikov I I does a little dance to reset his feet.

A little jabbing left from Kersikov I I on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kersikov I I on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Vitali Kersikov I I has been cut.

Sector connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kersikov I I's hands.
Nice uppercut lands for Sector. That snapped Kersikov I I's head back.

That has opened up Vitali Kersikov I I's cut even more.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

It looks like Summa Sector has been cut.

Sector rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd cheers as Sector lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kersikov I I doesn't seem phased though.

Summa Sector seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Sector here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Vitali Kersikov I I's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Sector is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kersikov I I can do to turn this around?

Sector feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kersikov I Is jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Kersikov I I might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Sector has got the better of the exchanges.

Well Sector has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Summa Sector spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
