Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Haruki Johnson (ranked 288 p4p, 527 weight class) and Dylan Peterson (ranked 47 p4p, 80 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Haruki Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 36 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Peterson! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Damien Edna and Ben Watson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Johnson. Johnson looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Peterson darts in looking for a takedown but Johnson gets double underhooks and turns Peterson into the cage. Peterson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Johnson throws a low kick, looking for Peterson's leg but Peterson calmly moves out of range. Peterson moves out of range as Johnson strikes. Peterson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Peterson connects with a crisp jab. Peterson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Peterson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Johnson misses with a hook. Peterson ducked under it nicely. Johnson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peterson with a jab. Peterson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Haruki Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dylan Peterson. Peterson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Johnson. Peterson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Johnson. Peterson slips a straight right by Johnson. Peterson throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Peterson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Peterson throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it. Johnson is looking to counter with a body kick. Peterson throws a shot from downtown. Johnson moves away and avoids it. Johnson was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Peterson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely. It looked like Johnson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Peterson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johnson sees it coming and avoids it easily. A little feinted left hand from Johnson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Peterson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Peterson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Peterson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Johnson cracks Peterson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Johnson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Peterson to stand back up! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Peterson.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Peterson with a lazy takedown attempt and Johnson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Peterson defending well as Johnson loads up on a big left hand. Peterson misses with a lunging right hand
and Johnson counters with a big right hand! Oh Peterson is in trouble here! Johnson follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Haruki Johnson! A relieved looking Haruki Johnson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
