The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez cracks Lee with a good jab.

It looks like Frederick Lee has been cut.
Gonzalez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lee .

Gonzalez cracks Lee with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gonzalez has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lee to stand back up!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gonzalez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Gonzalez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lee sprawling to the canvas! Lee rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gonzalez finish him?!
Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Gonzalez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Frederick Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gonzalez cracks Lee with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lee looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gonzalez finish him?

Lee darts in looking for a takedown but Gonzalez gets double underhooks and turns Lee into the cage.

Gonzalez is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
