Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howard Clay (ranked 4883 p4p, 25121 weight class) and Evgen Slabakov (ranked 511 p4p, 598 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slabakov throws a head kick that misses.
Slabakov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clay manages to avoid it.
Slabakov misses with a body shot.
As Slabakov tries to get set, Clay tries to push him back and clinch up but Slabakov manages to avoid the attempt.
A head kick misses from Slabakov.
Slabakov throws a head kick but Clay moves out of range.
Slabakov throws a body shot but no joy.

Slabakov gets tackled into the cage by Clay. Clay maintains the clinch.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Clay holds on and takes a little breather.
Slabakov has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Canadian Combat Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Clay is on top in guard.

Clay drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Clay as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Slabakov screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Clay! Nice submission victory there!
