Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Izi Ruvik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bobby Brown!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruvik shoots in and drives through. Brown sprawls well.
Ruvik lands with a kick to the temple. Brown shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Bobby Brown has been cut.

Brown fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ruvik to the ground. Brown is now in Ruvik's guard.
Ruvik has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Brown wants to pass the guard but Ruvik is keeping the position.
Ruvik is trying to keep Brown in close.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brown is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ruvik is aware though and is defending well.

Brown closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Brown is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ruvik has managed to free his arm - good work.

Brown postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ruvik is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brown, into his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ruvik is looking to take a break and control but Brown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Ruvik throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brown.
Ruvik goes for a double leg but Brown avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brown continues to drive forward.
Ruvik goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ruvik throws the left hand but Brown avoids the punch easily.
Ruvik misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Izi Ruvik. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ruvik throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily.

Brown closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brown lands in his opponent's guard.

Brown changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Ruvik is pushing Brown's head away, looking to escape. Brown manages to hold on to the position though.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ruvik holds on and takes a little breather.
Izi Ruvik is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ruvik preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Izi Ruvik.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ruvik, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
