Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Acelino Jofre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lem Hong!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jofre clinches with his opponent.
Hong swings wildly with an uppercut but Jofre uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jofre blocks a body shot from Hong.
Jofre decides to pull guard.
Jofre trying to keep a closed guard but Hong is proving a slippery customer.
Hong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jofre is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hong is aware though and is defending well.
Hong showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hong tries to free his leg and advance position but Jofre is retaining full guard.
Jofre keeping moving, preventing Hong from controlling successfully.
Jofre is trying to control the position but Hong postures up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Hong closes the distance and pushes Jofre back into the cage.
Hong stalling in the clinch.
Hong is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jofre is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hong to the mat. Hong regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hong holds on and takes a little breather.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hong pulls Jofre in close to prevent any damage.
Let's hope that Hong has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Jofre has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jofre has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hong to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jofre is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hong pulls down on the head and he's put Jofre to sleep! This one is all over!
