And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pertti Naulakko!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Byczkiewicz checks a leg kick.

Naulakko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Byczkiewicz throws out the jab.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Byczkiewicz is on top in guard.

Naulakko seems keen to control Byczkiewicz's posture.

Naulakko takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Byczkiewicz is nestled in close to Naulakko, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Byczkiewicz perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Byczkiewicz thows a huge punch but Naulakko dodges it nicely.
Byczkiewicz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Byczkiewicz is trying to control the action in half guard but Naulakko is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Naulakko wants to get back to his feet.
Byczkiewicz winds up and cracks Naulakko with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Naulakko gets back to full guard.
Byczkiewicz wants to control from the top but Naulakko keeps moving.
Byczkiewicz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Byczkiewicz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Naulakko's guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Byczkiewicz connects with a nice short shot to Naulakko's temple.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Byczkiewicz lands a nice short elbow.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Naulakko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Byczkiewicz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Naulakko scrambles back to his feet.

and Naulakko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Naulakko looks to score with a jab to the body but Byczkiewicz is just out of range.
Byczkiewicz connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Naulakko out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Blazej Byczkiewicz!

A relieved looking Blazej Byczkiewicz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
