PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takeru Kubota (ranked 19375 p4p, 6286 weight class) and Pagadianon Inday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Takeru Kubota has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Takeru Kubota seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 17 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Takeru Kubota!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 65 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pagadianon Inday!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kubota dips to his left and cracks Inday with an uppercut!
Inday takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Kubota closes the distance and clinches.
Inday has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kubota is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kubota here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A less than humble Takeru Kubota misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
