The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valentine tries to keep at a distance but James has taken the fight into the clinch.

Valentine wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and James manages to pass to side control.

James will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

James is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Valentine is surviving well by controlling James's body position as best he can.
Valentine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
