The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez misses with a leg kick.
Macho Man seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Macho Man throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Macho Man avoids a kick to the body.
Hernandez thumps Macho Man with a low kick.
Hernandez throws a solid leg kick but Macho Man takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hernandez.

Macho Man takes a head kick and keeps coming.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Macho Man pushes Hernandez back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Macho Man avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
As Hernandez tries to get set, Macho Man tries to push him back and clinch up but Hernandez manages to avoid the attempt.

Macho Man is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hernandez frees his head nicely. Oh but Macho Man has switched to an armbar! Hernandez is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
