Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Derek Erwin!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Erwin. No joy for Lo on that attempt.
Leandro Lo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Erwin rushes Lo and presses him up against the cage.
Lo is trying to drag Erwin to the mat but Erwin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leandro Lo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Erwin wants to take the fight to the mat but Lo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Erwin tightens his grip and picks Lo up, before dumping him to the ground. Lo manages to land in guard.
My spies in HELLCADEMY inform me that Erwin has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Erwin defends it easily.

Erwin seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Lo is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
