PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tu Barrels (ranked 2224 p4p, 4316 weight class) and Tommy Weismuller (ranked 113 p4p, 165 weight class). Barrels comes into the arena with Lock stock and blaring out of the sound system. Weismuller has chosen The Nosebleed Section by Hilltop Hoods as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tommy Weismuller!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weismuller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Tommy Weismuller has been cut.
Barrels throws a shot from downtown. Weismuller moves away and avoids it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Weismuller enables Barrels to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Weismuller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Barrels working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Weismuller's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We've been hearing that Barrels has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Barrels throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Barrels wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Weismuller, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Weismuller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Barrels will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Barrels sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Weismuller is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Barrels tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barrels has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
