Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Sidorov (ranked 412 p4p, 2925 weight class) and InSaen Chai (ranked 62 p4p, 429 weight class). Sidorov comes to the cage accompanied by Sidorov's Heart. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Sidorov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, InSaen Chai!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sidorov.
Chai lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sidorov is defended easily by Chai.
Sidorov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sidorov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chai swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Sidorov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sidorov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chai tries to avoid it but Sidorov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chai to the ground. Chai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sidorov closes the distance and clinches up with Chai, looking for a takedown. Sidorov pushes Chai against the cage but Chai circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

It seemed like Chai was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
