Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kilo Maluga (ranked 7 p4p, 106 weight class) and Imperial Washington (ranked 3 p4p, 16 weight class). Maluga kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is JUNGLE. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Imperial Washington!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Washington on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Maluga. Maluga obviously looking to wear him down.
Washington throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
An attempted straight right counter from Maluga misses the target.
A bone on bone clash there as Washington blocks the leg kick.
It seemed like Washington was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Washington takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Maluga takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Maluga goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Washington misses with a hook
letting Maluga counter with a right hand.
Maluga lands a big right hand that sends Washington crashing to the mat! Maluga stays standing though and waves Washington back to his feet!
Maluga lands a big uppercut and Washington crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Washington looks OK. Maluga waves Washington back to his feet!
Washington is rocked!
Maluga has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Convicted Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Maluga throws an uppercut from hell that sends Washington clean off his feet! He's out cold! Maluga stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kilo Maluga!
