Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adan Puno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Rozhkov!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puno takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nice defenses there by Rozhkov.
Puno scores with a jab. Rozhkov acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rozhkov dives in for a single leg takedown but Puno sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Puno was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Puno looks to score with a jab to the body but Rozhkov is just out of range.
Rozhkov digs a good hook to Puno's body.
Puno throws a hook but Rozhkov avoids it easily.
Puno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rozhkov throws a body shot but no joy.
An attempted straight right counter from Puno misses the target.
Rozhkov scores with a three punch combo!
Puno takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rozhkov lands a jab to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rozhkov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Puno's hands.

Rozhkov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Puno.
Puno has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rozhkov finds it's way round the side to connect with Puno's head.
Rozhkov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Puno defends it nicely.
Rozhkov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Puno pinned against the cage. Puno gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And Puno counters with a quick kick to the body but Rozhkov blocks it.
Adan Puno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Rozhkov.
Rozhkov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Puno.
Rozhkov throws a jab but it's blocked by Puno.
Rozhkov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Puno. Puno circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Puno.
Puno drops his hands momentarily and Rozhkov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Puno gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Puno's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rozhkov connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Puno scrambles back to his feet.
Rozhkov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Puno had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Rozhkov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Puno's waist but Puno gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rozhkov off to one side.
Rozhkov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Puno defends it nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rozhkov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Puno defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rozhkov.
Puno was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rozhkov dips to his left and cracks Puno with an uppercut!
Alexander Rozhkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rozhkov looks to land a combination but Puno avoids it well.
Rozhkov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Puno as he jumps to the side.
Rozhkov misses with a body punch
and Rozhkov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Alexander Rozhkov has been cut.
Puno throws a leg kick but Rozhkov sees it coming and moves out of range.
Rozhkov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Puno.
Puno drops Rozhkov with a big left hand! Rozhkov is injured, injured bad! Puno jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

A very excited looking Adan Puno made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
