Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jing Xin Yi (ranked 2319 p4p, 2431 weight class) and Jake Jones (ranked 302 p4p, 312 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xin Yi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Jones misses with a hook. Xin Yi ducked under it nicely.

Jones looks to land a left hand but Xin Yi moved out of range nicely.

Jake Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Xin Yi.
Jones lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xin Yi moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Xin Yi closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Jones! Xin Yi dives in looking to finish! Jones is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
