Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Small Richard (ranked 1039 p4p, 1336 weight class) and Dean Stomp (ranked 93 p4p, 120 weight class). Stomp has chosen 80/20SKYBEEF as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Small Richard has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Small Richard seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stomp looks to land a right hand but Richard moved out of range.
Stomp missing with a left hand there. Richard was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stomp misses with an uppercut

and Richard counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Stomp is trying to get back to full guard.
Stomp trying to control from the bottom.

Stomp has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Richard escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Richard!

Richard tries for a kimura but Stomp is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stomp manages to work his way to half guard, despite Richard's best efforts.
Stomp tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Richard content to control rather than advance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stomp is looking for a sweep. Richard is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Stomp is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Richard has latched onto it... Big trouble! Richard pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Stomp is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Richard!
