Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simo Halli (ranked 2436 p4p, 3215 weight class) and Aniruddha Anand (ranked 315 p4p, 386 weight class). Anand has chosen Swag Se Segat by Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Simo Halli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aniruddha Anand!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halli takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Halli shoots in looking for a takedown but Anand manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Halli's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Anand tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Halli chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Anand can pounce on him.
Anand has managed to clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Anand.
Anand tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

The referee is keeping an eye on Halli - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Halli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Halli is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
