This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 29 wins and 15 losses; Abubakar Camara! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 42 wins and 32 losses; Tsuyoi Kakuto!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Kakuto shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kakuto was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Camara is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kakuto sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Camara's guard.

Camara isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kakuto stacks Camara on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kakuto!

Camara has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kakuto is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Camara.

Kakuto tries to escape but Camara has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Camara is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kakuto knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kakuto for a finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

What can Kakuto do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
