PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vito Corleone (ranked 3519 p4p, 2432 weight class) and Travis Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 367 weight class). Corleone comes to the cage accompanied by Sussudio- Phil Collins. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillinger fails with the takedown
and Corleone counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Corleone has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Dillinger tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Corleone swivels and escapes.
It looked like Corleone was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Dillinger .

Corleone closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dillinger did well to prevent Corleone getting side control.

Dillinger tries to roll over but Corleone keeps him under control.

Dillinger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Corleone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Corleone passes to full mount!
Dillinger is trying desperately to improve position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dillinger can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee warns Dillinger that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Corleone connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Dillinger is rocked!
Corleone postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Dillinger badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Corleone around the waist but Corleone pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Corleone is the winner by TKO! Corleone jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vito Corleone!
