And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 15 losses; David McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Kersikov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McDonald tries to avoid it but Kersikov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McDonald to the ground. McDonald escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McDonald displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kersikov.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kersikov enables McDonald to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kersikov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kersikov got a little sloppy there for a moment and McDonald has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kersikov has managed to get both his arms back between McDonald's legs - danger averted.

McDonald is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kersikov is defending well though. McDonald let's go of the attempt for now.
