Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holden Easterly (ranked 23234 p4p, 21891 weight class) and Dez Havok (ranked 258 p4p, 280 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Easterly closes the distance and clinches.
Easterly tries a body shot but Havok blocks it.

Easterly manages to break the clinch.
Havok throws out a loose jab but Easterly uses good head movement to avoid it.
Havok scores with a head kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Easterly darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Havok misses with a head kick.
Havok scores with a jab to the head.
Easterly tries to clinch there but Havok circles away.
Havok tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Easterly was well out of range. Poor timing from Havok.

Easterly has closed the distance and engaged Havok in a clinch.
Easterly tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Easterly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Easterly clinches up with Havok and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Easterly manages to break the clinch.
Havok swinging wildly here.
Easterly tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Havok paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dez Havok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Havok takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Easterly scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Easterly clinches up against the cage.
Havok blocks a body shot from Easterly .
Easterly avoiding damage as Havok throws knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Easterly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Easterly fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Havok on the side of the head.

Easterly gets in close and instigates a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Havok.
With the fighters up against the cage, Havok throws an elbow but misses.
Easterly lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Havok.
Easterly 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Havok tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Easterly avoids it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Easterly .
Easterly lands with a right to the head.
Havok misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Easterly .
Easterly tries a body shot but Havok blocks it.
Easterly lands a left hand that snaps the head of Havok backwards.
Havok tries to land knees in the clinch but Easterly avoids the damage to the body.

Easterly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Easterly wants to clinch up but Havok keeps it at a distance.
Easterly lands a right hook to the body.
Easterly has been working on his boxing with his coaches at HELLCADEMY in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Easterly has taken the fight to the clinch.
Havok throws a knee to the head but misses.
Easterly managing to block the knees to the body from Havok.
Easterly dodges an elbow strike from Havok.
Havok is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Havok lands a hook that snaps the head of Easterly backwards.
Havok softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Easterly lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A short left from Havok.
Easterly tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Havok's elbow.
Havok throws a punch but it's blocked by Easterly .
Havok makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Easterly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Havok throws a hook to the side of Easterly 's head but Easterly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Havok has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A head kick from Havok lands but Easterly takes it in his stride.
Easterly throws a head kick that misses.
Easterly tries to clinch up.
Easterly digs a good hook to Havok's body.
Havok moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Havok fails in his attempt to clinch.
Easterly displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Havok throws out the jab.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Havok throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Havok misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Easterly .
Easterly lands with a good body shot.
A jab from Havok finds it's way through Easterly 's defenses.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Holden Easterly .
Well Easterly has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
