Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baldur Torsten (ranked 1031 p4p, 1002 weight class) and Greg Dansworth (ranked 160 p4p, 157 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Torsten might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Temple of Odin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Baldur Torsten!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Greg Dansworth!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dansworth misses with an uppercut
and Torsten counters with a leg kick.
Torsten takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dansworth looks to throw a body kick
and Torsten counters with a nice leg kick.
Dansworth takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Dansworth throws out a leg kick but Torsten moves out of range and Dansworth only half commits.
Torsten connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Greg Dansworth has been cut.
Dansworth misses with a double jab
enabling Torsten to counter with a crisp jab.
Dansworth thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Torsten if he has to take too many more of those.
We've been informed that Dansworth has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Torsten uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dansworth has time to react.
Dansworth misses with the combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Torsten avoids the head kick by Dansworth.
Dansworth looks to throw the jab but Torsten is out of range.

Dansworth throws a shot from downtown. Torsten moves away and avoids it.
Torsten with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dansworth throws a poor cross that misses
and Torsten counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dansworth's knee momentarily.
Torsten lands a front kick.
Torsten displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dansworth throws out the jab.
Baldur Torsten is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dansworth looks to land a left hand but Torsten moved out of range nicely.
Dansworth throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Torsten.
Torsten looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Dansworth scores with a jab.
Dansworth throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dansworth misses with a lunging right hand
and Torsten counters with a thumping low kick.
Dansworth looks winded!
Torsten avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dansworth throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Torsten finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Dansworth takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dansworth is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Torsten lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dansworth will feel that in the morning.
Torsten lands a nice looking body kick.
Dansworth shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That has opened up Greg Dansworth's cut even more.
Torsten wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Dansworth walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dansworth throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Torsten counters with a nice body kick.
Torsten bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Torsten lands with a nice body punch.
Torsten lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Dansworth is rocked!

The cut above Greg Dansworth's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Dansworth drops his hands momentarily. Torsten doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Dansworth staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Dansworth doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Baldur Torsten!
A very excited looking Baldur Torsten made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
