The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dennison shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hasselhoff is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Dennison got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hasselhoff has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dennison has managed to get both his arms back between Hasselhoff's legs - danger averted.
Dennison is working Hasselhoff over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Dennison has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hasselhoff has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hasselhoff is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dennison connects with a couple of short punches.

Hasselhoff wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Dennison's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Dennison stands up over Hasselhoff, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Hasselhoff had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dennison defends it easily.

Hasselhoff escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dennison gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dennison is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Hasselhoff on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hasselhoff tries to get out of the position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dennison working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Hasselhoff seems to have got his legs back now.
