Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Keene Scott (ranked 4335 p4p, 5173 weight class) and Chance Ogrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Keene Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chance Ogrady!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Scott misses the target.
Scott throws a low kick but Ogrady moves out of range easily.
Scott misses with a hook to the body
letting Ogrady counter with a right hand.

Scott gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Scott lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Scott throws a big right hand that misses.
Scott working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Scott works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Scott is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ogrady defends it well.
Scott throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Scott looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Scott passes the guard and advances to mount!

Scott misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Scott is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ogrady is surviving well by controlling Scott's body position as best he can.
Scott tries to control but Ogrady wriggling away.

Scott has control of Ogrady's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ogrady regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Scott can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ogrady is looking to escape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Scott throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Scott with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Ogrady slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Scott is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ogrady doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Scott.
Scott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Scott is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ogrady is just riding it out for now. Scott eventually gives up the hold.

Scott throwing strikes here but Ogrady is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Scott throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ogrady because Scott loaded up on that one.

Scott is working for a guillotine from mount but Ogrady frees his head quite easily.

Scott has control of Ogrady's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ogrady regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Scott swings for the body but Ogrady moves out of range.

Scott darts in and clinches Ogrady up against the cage.

Scott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Scott takes a swing at Ogrady's ribcage but misses.
Keene Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ogrady drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Scott lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ogrady is not content to let Scott control the position.

Scott tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scott has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Scott is keen to just control but Ogrady is a slippery customer.
Scott is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Keene Scott overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Scott throws a sloppy head kick and Ogrady moves out of range easily.

Scott changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Scott looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ogrady chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Scott can pounce on him.
Chance Ogrady is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Ogrady fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Scott to the ground. Ogrady is now in Scott's guard.

Scott is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Scott has his foot on Ogrady's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ogrady works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ogrady got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scott has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ogrady has managed to get both his arms back between Scott's legs - danger averted.

Scott fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ogrady takes a jab right on the kisser.
Scott walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ogrady checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Ogrady lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Scott clinches up with Ogrady and pushes him back against the cage.
Scott scores with a shoulder strike.

Ogrady tries to circle away but Scott has him pinned against the cage.
Scott throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Scott lands a nice shot to the body.
Scott is working Ogrady over against the cage.
Scott lands a hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ogrady takes a shot to the head.
Scott softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Scott lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Scott lands with a right to the head.

Scott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A nice leg kick from Scott, right into the meat of the thigh.
Scott connects with a single shot there.
Jab by Scott.
Scott feints a jab promting Ogrady to slip. Scott then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ogrady slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Scott catches Ogrady with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Scott throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ogrady ducks right into an uppercut from Scott.

Ogrady is rocked!
Scott looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Scott backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Ogrady's temple! It sends Ogrady violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Scott celebrates and the doctors try to help Ogrady!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Keene Scott!
