Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Beach (ranked 817 p4p, 712 weight class) and Wille Thai (ranked 118 p4p, 107 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thai shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Thai showed some decent athleticism there.

Thai is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Beach doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thai.
Beach is trying to stand up here but Thai is controlling him well.
Beach is trying to get back to full guard.

Thai is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thai is working for a kimura but Beach is defending it quite comfortably.

Thai is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beach is just riding it out for now. Thai eventually gives up the hold.

Beach has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Thai is on him like a limpet, forcing Beach back against the cage.
Thai tries for a takedown but Beach manages to get underhooks.

Beach is fighting off a takedown attempt but Thai is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Beach to the mat. Beach regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thai is fighting to break Beach's control of his arms but Beach is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Thai has gone for a leg lock! Beach slips out almost immediately though and dives into Thai's guard.

Thai is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Beach defends well.

Thai is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Thai isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Beach stacks Thai on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Beach!
Thai tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Beach wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thai sneaks back into half guard.

Thai has his feet on Beach's thighs here. He's pushed Beach off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Beach screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
